Nevertheless this task always attracted me so that I regularly spoke at openings of exhibitions. Not all speeches are preserved, some maybe extemporized (see Hürth, after the tape record). When I hit upon the texts at the end of 1997 I felt moved peculiarly: This all I had said many years ago!

I'm very pleased with the person that shines through these speeches. I can' remember anything. The time was so much on the outset, the becoming of political consciousness in the 60ies was still very present - so much has changed since!

Obviously I try hard to understand what really happens during painting. The creative process itself, once started, is fascinating and tempting to do some statements.

Well, the old Picasso was driven by this fascination also, he is said to have stated: "Painting is stronger than I!", but actually he was exhaustet and worn out and did not recognize it. He didn't have contact to creativeness any more. Now what is creativeness?
