Artist Stuerenburg (aka Joe) presents in this version circa 170 paintings, sculptures, drawings plus texts, poems and music. Opening screens and poems are generally translated to English, some of the speeches, descriptions and memoirs are in German only to be translated by demand. Questions of art in general and especially of this kind are discussed in length, comprehensible and written for the layman.

The art presented here owes much to forebears like Rembrandt, Picasso and, most intrinsically, Max Beckmann. The latter is a German artist too, not much understood to this day. Mainly discussed is what is new and important in this art. There is a short introduction in the section WhatWhoWhere.

Paintings range from small to large to multi-part. Works are presented chronologically as well as by techniques (painting, scultprures, drawings, prints) and themes (13). Every section is prefaced by a note. A contest invites to play with a particular woodcut.

13 speeches investigate in diverse themes, 12 descriptions of pictures try to give some hints. There are comments to the 6 pieces of music, the memoirs are divided in 16 chapters.
